COVID-19 VACCINE INFORMATION

At this time, Medtopia Medical Clinic DOES NOT have a COVID Vaccination available to administer to our patients.  We are currently on a waiting list to receive them.  The doctors and staff are frustrated with distribution too. If you are able to register or receive the vaccination through a different entity i.e. pharmacy, Health department, another clinic or agency please do so.

TELEHEALTH INFORMATION

To Our Valued Patient,

At Medtopia Medical Clinic, we are very concerned about your health and well-being. Our mission has been to provide stellar personalized healthcare. With the arrival of the COVID-19 virus we want to take action to provide appropriate care. We are still seeing patients and are taking every recommended precaution, disinfecting multiple times a day and screening sick patients before they come in.

Effective immediately, we will offer Telehealth visits for our patients that are at risk, unable or unwilling to come into the office, or meet any of the criteria that would make them a health risk to others. We can do phone or, best, video chat  We will be using a HIPPA compliant website called:

https://doxy.me/DrDuhaneyhttps://doxy.me/DrSaroshAhttps://doxy.me/PACDaria.

We can use all forms of communication included but not limited to Facetime, Skype, etc. if needed.   Please call to schedule a Telehealth visit with us.  A verbal/written consent will be needed before the start of any Telehealth visit.

Telehealth services will be used for after hour and weekend calls.

The President has mandated that Medicare allow charges for Telehealth visits for Medicare patients on a temporary emergency basis. Standard Medicare fees will be collected for these visits and filed with Medicare for our patients.

Some health insurances are now accepting claims for Telehealth services.  Please check with your insurance carrier.

The standard charge for insurance carriers that do not cover Telehealth services will be $39 dollars.  We hope all third party insurances will follow Medicare’s mandate in the near future.

Wash your hands.  Avoid sick people.  Avoid crowds.

Stay healthy,

Medtopia Medical Clinic
